Weekend fun

On Saturday morning Taylor and I went to her friend Evan's birthday party. The kids had so much fun in the sun and splashing in the pool and sprinklers. Of course I forgot my camera! They had this great CD playing of kids music. We all kept finding Taylor up on the deck by herself dancing! She is so funny and actually has some dancing talent.

Well one of the Dad's did comment on her "booty shaking"...again I am not sure where she picks this up from :)

After the party Taylor went to stay at Grammy and PawPaw's for a slumber party with her cousin Ellie. That afternoon Grammy and the girls ventured out to Build-A-Bear. Grammy is a brave soul and very GOOD to the grand kids..I mean they aren't spoiled or anything :) Grammy said that Build-A-Bear was having a special where you could pick any size animal for a given cost and she said that Taylor went right for one of the big/expensive animals. She chose Hello Kitty. Taylor also picked out this sweet princess outfit and these white shiny shoes for her Kitty that she named Olivia. From what Grammy said it was an interesting afternoon with the girls as they were both very indecisive on their animal's outfits. I think Taylor had a great time at Grammy and PawPaw's house although she was exhausted today when she got home (well a feisty little girl really!!) I don't think there was too much sleeping at their house last night between Ellie and Taylor so hopefully Grammy and PawPaw got to have a relaxing Sunday afternoon. Taylor was asleep by 6:45 pm!!! We need to write that down as she hasn't done that in at least a year or so!

She and Kitty (Olivia actually as she corrected me a couple of times on Hello Kitty's name!) were playing with her Dora/Diego Aqua Doodle. She actually asked me to take this picture of them.

As for poor Caroline, she had a rough weekend! She has been fighting this nasty cold since last Tuesday and it seemed like it really hit her hard on Saturday. Her little eyes were pouring with nastiness all weekend and she just didn't even look like she felt well. Of course she is battling with these teeth too. The top two are trying to pop through and are giving her a hard time. She usually doesn't get her paci a lot although the past week or so you would see her with it more times than not. Hopefully she will be feeling better tomorrow.
