Tuesday March 31st, Rob's birthday!…actually the same day as Aunt Kerri (my sister)! When I asked Taylor how old Daddy was that day she said so matter of factly, “FORTY-FOUR!”
Ouch!!! I laughed and since Rob was standing right there, I just told her nicely that no Daddy is really only 32. Hope you had a great birthday Rob…We Love you!!
Sweet Taylor couldn’t wait to dry her hair first before singing Happy Birthday to her Daddy…

Visit with Sug
Our good friend Sug (Brandon) came to visit over the weekend. He held Caroline, posed for some pictures and even had a tea party with Taylor. These pictures were priceless and I had to post them! Sug is so good with kids and they absolutely loved him; he can baby-sit any time :)
Oh yes they were having a tea party!
Happy Birthday Grammy!!
When Taylor got up on Saturday morning I told her that it was Grammy’s (my Mom) birthday. Well the next words out of her mouth were, “We have to make her a CAKE!” Of course she emphasized the word cake as that is one of her favorite foods (what kid doesn't like cake?!) That rainy morning Taylor and I went to the store for cake mix and frosting. Taylor really wanted to get a Dora the Explorer cake topper but I was able to talk her into doing cupcakes and covering them with sprinkles. She was really excited about our baking session. She was such a big helper and even helped me clean the utensils….yummy!
Even Caroline wanted to help..she liked the box and measuring cup best!
Ellie loves to be a big helper with her baby cousins.
Silly Uncle Keith, give Skyler his hat back...
I think Caroline likes it though...
Grammy really wanted a picture of all the grandkids (minus Jake and Mason;we missed you guys!!!)..well we tried, my girls weren't interested
That night we met the family out for dinner at the Mellow Mushroom…very yummy and kid friendly restaurant. We had a great time spending time with the family and celebrating Grammy’s special day! Grammy is a very special person and we are all so blessed to have her in our lives. Hope you had a wonderful birthday Grammy…Love you!

Funny story; smart girl...
So I have several posts but just don't have the energy or time tonight; stayed tuned!
I do have this funny story though that I wanted to share. When I was in the 7th grade I had a math teacher, Mrs. Hatfield. She would always tell us that "Patience is a virtue." This has stayed with me throughout my life and now I often find myself saying this to Taylor as she is not usually very patient. (I am sure she is like most two year olds who want things RIGHT now! They don't like to wait)
On Friday night I was busy fixing dinner for Taylor and Caroline while the girls sat at the table waiting (Caroline was of course in her high chair). I had just finished Taylor's and started to work on Caroline's food. Caroline was crying and being very impatient! Taylor leaned over and said, "Caroline patience is a virtue!"
Wow...I just smiled. Funny girl, very smart girl!

Happy Spring
Taylor and Caroline absolutely love being outside. We are all ready for the nice warm spring weather. Mother nature teased us last weekend with beautiful warm weather (this week it is cold and rainy again). We took full advantage of it and enjoyed the afternoon outside with our girls.
Here is Caroline's serious look
Again always smiling and laughing.
Taylor was not happy that Caroline took one of her "Little People" from the airplane although Caroline loved her!
I just liked this picture of her...sometimes when Elmo pops up, Caroline gets a little scared

We went to the Children’s Museum a couple of weekends ago with some friends and their little ones. My good friend Emily was there with her adorable little boy Crawford. Emily is starting to develop her photography skills and is always capturing the best pictures and sweet moments. If you check our her blog, you will see what an awesome job she does as there are tons of great pictures of Crawford. I must say I am a little jealous of her talent as she does a really good job! She took this adorable picture of Taylor and I just LOVE it!
Say a prayer for this precious child!
Please pray for Stellan.
This little boy is fighting for his life as he is suffering from SVT (Supra Ventricular Tachycardia=very high heart rate). Stellan and his family have been in my thoughts and prayers all day! I read his mother's blog on a daily basis and this just breaks my heart to hear that Stellan became so sick over the weekend. Please take the time to say an extra prayer for him!

First play date for Caroline
One of my best friends from college, Emily came to visit on Wednesday and Caroline and I got to meet Graham Shortridge for the first time. He is just about two months younger than Caroline and is too cute! Caroline and Graham just looked at one another, smiling and making those sweet baby sounds to one another. We tried to get a picture of them, but as most you well know it is not that easy to get two kids to look at the camera at the same (let alone get them to smile too!)
I am hoping that Emily is not regretting her visit with us! Later that afternoon we had to take Caroline to the Dr. as her poor little eyes started to look horrible. She ended up having conjunctivitis in both eyes and an ear infection! Goodness I really hope and pray that Graham did not get sick! We can't wait to get together again for another play date.
First try...
They are just not too sure abut this picture thing...Now Graham, no kissing on the first date :-)
Emily was taking pictures too; hopefully she got a good front shot

Milestone Week
It is just amazing how quickly our little ones pick things up and change! I mean just last week I was talking about how Caroline just wasn't interested in eating her veggies or fruits...well that has changed like overnight!! She is doing so well this week eating. She has eaten sweet potatoes and carrots for me and not one time did she gag! (the little things that make me happy these days...ha!)
What a Happy Girl...she is always smiling!

We gave her a sippy cup over the weekend and she really seemed to like it. Well she really enjoyed chewing on the top at least!
Caroline is the youngest one in her class at daycare and until this week she was the only one that was not sitting up all by herself. Well don't you know that on Monday Caroline started sitting up on her own!! What a big girl she is becoming...it is all going by SO FAST!!
If you can't tell by the orange face, Caroline just finished eating some yummy carrots!!
As for Taylor, Rob and I are just battling bedtime with her. We are trying a new technique of placing her back in her bed without talking every time she gets out of bed. (Silent return to sleep) I must say the first night was awful! We are on day three and things have gotten a little better. Keep your fingers crossed that day four will be even easier too! She is extremely stubborn, resilient and definitely really smart! Gotta love her!
She got a hold of her Daddy's work boots. I thought this was too cute...

Daddy's girls...
How sweet..Caroline and Daddy lovin'
Hey Taylor...
Here's our little rocker and Movie Star! (Oh YES she was breaking it down for us to Yo Gabba Gabba!!)
Day in the park
Today we had another play date with Jacob and Evan. The kids absolutely love each other!! I decided not to tell Taylor that we were going to the park with her friends until about 9 this morning. (we were meeting them at 10:30 and had decided last week about the play date)
I figured she would be too excited to go to see them and would bug me every minute as to when we were going. Plus since she got up early yet again!! (6:15 AM?!), then I wouldn't have to keep telling her, "We will go soon"
As soon as we got to the park she ran up to Evan with her arms open for a big hug! They played for a couple of hours together on the play set and then at the soccer field. We had a great time and can't wait to see them again!
